The Charlotte Tournament has been canceled. We are working on another play day event for the month of July.

The date has been set for the Charlotte tournament... Saturday, June 11th. Please email us if you are interested in attending and include your position. Reminder: You must be a us lacrosse member to participate. Once we have enough members interested we will continue to figure out cost and game times.

Check out the new "Classifieds" tab! Throughout the year, many organizations and new teams contact us asking for coaches and help in general. This page will assist in advertising for these opportunities to give back to the sport. If you know of anyone in need of help in the lacrosse community please have them contact us by email so we can get the word out for them. It can also be used to post miscellaneous items that you think may be of interest to the club (looking for a roommate, trying to sell furniture, getting rid of sticks, etc.). If you have any type of ad you would like posted please let us know as well.

 

Are you on Facebook? Join our Facebook group "Atlanta Women's Lacrosse Club". This group will serve its purpose as a blog and to send out event invitations. You must submit a request to join as it is a closed group, but we would love to have you.

Update!!! We know everyone had been wondering what is going on with AWLC so here are our summer plans...

- We will have our first official practice of the summer Sunday May 22, 2011 at Roswell Area Park. After this first practice, we hope to continue getting together throughout the summer once a week or biweekly depending on turnouts. If you have or know of field space that we can use at no cost to the club please email us at atlantalax@gmail.com.

- We are working on attending a Post-collegiate club tournament in Charlotte, NC sometime this summer with other NC club teams. Dates and other information is still being worked out, but we will keep everyone updated as things come together. We hope to have 18 of our members attend this tournament, so keep checking for updates.
